Adarsh Shinde

Adarsh Anand Shinde is an Indian playback singer, born on March 7, 1988. He is recognized for his extensive work in Marathi film songs and for his contributions to Ambedkarite music, often singing songs dedicated to B. R. Ambedkar and Buddhism.

Early Life and Musical Heritage

Shinde hails from a family with a strong musical background. His father, Anand Shinde, and grandfather, Prahlad Shinde, were also well-known singers. Adarsh began his musical training at the age of ten, receiving classical music lessons from Suresh Wadkar. The Shinde family is also known to be influenced by B. R. Ambedkar and follows Buddhism, a theme that is reflected in some of Adarsh's musical output.

Career and Notable Contributions

Adarsh Shinde has established himself as a prominent singer, having recorded over 1500 songs in both Marathi and Hindi languages. He started his career by collaborating with his father and uncle, Milind Shinde, on an album. A significant milestone in his career was in 2014 when the Shinde family, comprising three generations of singers, performed together for the Marathi film Priyatma. He also composed and sang the title song "Bhimraya Majha Bhimraya" for a Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar series with his brother Utkarsh Shinde.
