Caiazzo Cathedral, officially known as the Basilica concattedrale di Maria Santissima Assunta e Santo Stefano Vescovo, is a significant Roman Catholic church located in the town of Caiazzo, within the province of Caserta, Italy. Dedicated to the Virgin Mary and Saint Stephen the Bishop, the church holds a dual role in the contemporary ecclesiastical landscape. It previously served as the principal cathedral for the historical Diocese of Caiazzo. Following a significant administrative change in 1986, it transitioned to become a co-cathedral, sharing its status within the newly formed Diocese of Alife-Caiazzo. Further elevating its standing, Caiazzo Cathedral was declared a minor basilica in 2013, acknowledging its particular importance.
