Tusshar Kapoor

Tusshar Ravi Kapoor is an Indian actor and producer primarily known for his contributions to Hindi cinema. Born on November 20, 1976, he is the son of veteran actors Jeetendra and Shobha Kapoor, and his elder sister is the renowned producer Ekta Kapoor.

Early Life and Education

Kapoor received his early education at Bombay Scottish School, where he was a classmate of Abhishek Bachchan. He pursued higher education in the United States, earning a BBA degree from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.

Career Beginnings and Debut

Before stepping into acting, Kapoor worked as an assistant to film director David Dhawan and underwent training in acting with Roshan Taneja and Mahendra Verma, as well as in dance with Nimesh Bhatt. He made his acting debut in 2001 with the commercially successful film 'Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai', a remake of the Telugu hit 'Tholi Prema'. For this role, he was awarded the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut.
