She was declared Venerable on October 4, 1974, by Pope Paul VI, who also beatified her on April 16, 1978, following the papal confirmation of a miracle involving the healing of a sister from tuberculosis. Pope Francis confirmed her canonization, which was celebrated on October 14, 2018, with the miracle attributed to her intercession taking place in India in 2012.
